About Ragani
Ragani is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed by the State of Wisconsin. With over a decade of experience in acupuncture and three decades of experience and training in yoga, meditation, and stress management techniques, Ragani integrates a broad scope of wellness interventions into her acupuncture treatment sessions. Her treatments offer a gentle, mindful, and individualized approach within a relaxing atmosphere. Among her specialties are conditions of musculo-skeletal pain (neck, back, shoulder, arm, knee, etc.), fibromyalgia, gastrointestinal disruptions, gynecological concerns, sports-related injuries, and stress-related issues. She is available for complimentary phone consultations for any questions regarding acupuncture and its treatment effects.
In her music career, Ragani is an award-winning production and recording artist and leads Milwaukee’s Kirtan with Ragani, one of the largest independent, ongoing kirtan (yoga chant) scenes in the nation. Named in OnMilwaukee.com's "100 Milwaukeeans You Need to Know", Ragani has been featured on FOX & NBC affiliates, in numerous international publications (Recording Magazine, Ode, etc.), and in the kirtan documentary movie, Sutra. Ragani is also the featured model for the award-winning book/videos, Yoga: Mastering the Basics. In addition, Ragani and her husband lead Sacred Retreat Tours to India’s beautiful Himalayas, where they have spent time with many known and unknown mystics and adepts.
The name "Ragani" (pronounced "RAH-gah-nee") comes from her travel, music and time in India. Born in Detroit, MI, she accepted the name "Ragani" after working for more than eleven years with a mystic from the Himalayas and his charitable hospital in India.
